I am Oluwamayowa Amosuro, popularly known as the Mayor of Abk and globally identified by the signature brand SBM – Stunning Brilliant Mind. I am a sustainability leader, industrial and environmental chemist, entrepreneur, and talent & lifestyle manager committed to building a world where growth and environmental responsibility coexist.
My journey began with a foundation in Industrial Chemistry, where I learned how scientific innovation fuels industrial development. But the deeper I explored, the more I saw the environmental cost of unchecked industrial practices. This led me to pursue a Master’s Degree in Environmental Chemistry, grounding my purpose in a single belief:
Development must never come at the expense of the earth.
I come from the Amosuro lineage—guardians of the sacred Osu “healing fruit.” My heritage is from Abeokuta hence the name “Mayor of Abk”.
Today, that heritage fuels my expanded purpose:
to protect the healing earth.
A defining chapter in my journey came through the Guinness World Record attempt led by Ayelabola Ololade, where I served as the strategic lead. This moment of courage and resilience inspired the birth of the We Dare to Dream Community—a dynamic ecosystem that empowers youth talents, shapes their dreams into sustainable business models, and advances innovative solutions aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
In 2025, via my signature project “PASSITON”, my work in sustainability was recognized globally when I became certified as a United People Global (UPG) Sustainability Leader & Champion, followed by my leadership certification from the ExCEL Leadership and Entrepreneurial Development Academy (ELEDA). These experiences strengthened my ability to design solutions, lead teams, and empower young changemakers.
